Craft Your Lab – An Introduction to Social Innovation Labs

By participating in this immersive learning experience you gain practical knowledge in developing and facilitating social innovation labs. More specifically you will:
- Learn about different social lab strategies, approaches and models
- Explore challenges of working with diverse stakeholders, power and stuck systems
- Explore different open innovation approaches to work with complex systems such as: the art of hosting generative conversations, the u-process, human-centered design and others;
- Map your own social innovation eco-system, co-design and prototype a social innovation lab strategy or program

Dutch think-tank Kennisland (one of the co-authors of Lab Craft) invites you to critically reflect on and engage with their current work. The evening includes speakers who present findings and challenges from labs about education, elderly care and youth (un)employment in the Netherlands, while in the backdrop knowledge and insights from three Kennisland publications will feauture: ‘Lab Matters’, ‘Lab Craft’ and the new ‘Better Aging in Amsteldorp: How social labs work for a sustainable future of elderly care’.
